| Got it on Sale... | | I started going to flea markets several years ago and you can say that I'm hooked on it. I often scour these places to look for bargain prices on almost anything. This morning, I went with a friend to an "ukay-ukay", where second-hand and surplus clothes are sold. I didn't bring that much money but I still got two valances and four big throw pillow cases for only one hundred thirty pesos[em]thumbup[/em][em]thumbup[/em](about 2.5 dollar). How about you? Do you also go to flea markets or bazaars or secondhand clothes? What was your best find?[em]happy[/em] | |
| | Americana decor | | In recent years I have noticed all the Americana decor available to us & have kinda gone crazy with it in the dining-room, but it just looks so nice & what a great way to show your patriotism! I like that country look so a lot of it is in that style...I even bought red & white striped material & I dyed it with tea to look old & then sewed on a strip of blue that had white stars on it & made 2 valances out of it...looks really cool & I gotta lot of compliments on it! Even my wallpaper border has stars & stripes on it...just wondered if anyone else has a lot things like this in their homes? | |
