Yet the thought of getting into a time machine and transporting myself back to the "good old world" of fixed line telephones didn't occur to me out of nowhere. There are infinite health hazards in this modern (or post-modern, if you like it) world. Air and water (and all other) pollution, acid rain, pesticides and insecticides in vegetables and fruits, high fat content in fast and packed food, the perils of red meat and passive (in my case, active) smoking have for years transpired to turn modern life into a nightmare. As if those dangers were not enough, now comes another definitive warning: Mobile phone use could affect sperm count and could be linked to a decline in fertility.

Is the British Public Transport system the worst in the world?
I have been using the British public transport system for many years now.Having travelled all round the world - it seems that we have by far the worst transport system.It is very expensive - unless you can book a ticket months in advance.Overcrowded - at peak periods, you have to stand and often have to be packed so tight it would break the law for transporting animals.Late - I have almost lost jobs as the trains and buses has been so consistently late.Unhelpful staff - most of the staff could not care less and seemed more depressed than the passengers.Where is the worst place to have to use public transport?
