| Heart of Ice, Pt: 3 | | This is one of my posts from my newest rpg forum " The Dragon Wars ". My character is Wynsteria, better known as Wyn. There are three posts involved in this thread, and the post done by Eclipse, is my friend that I'm role playing with. I'm posting his part of the thread, with his premission, so that my two posts combined make more sense to those of you reading. You can find a link to the forum at the bottom of this post. | | Yahweh's Resume | | I was browsing through the net because I wanted to find out something about the Old Testament God, The Muslim Allah, The Christian God the Father. I wanted to know how the idea of this God developed through the ages, what the ancient Hebrews (who were Pagans) really believed. I had already read somewhere that Yahweh was only a sky god in the Hebrew pantheon, who later got "promoted" to his post as Lord God of the Universe, Creator of the world.What I got in the Internet was a rant. Now, I like rants; they amuse me. Or rather, the ranters ability to express a plethora of emotions through just one four letter word beginning with "f" amuses me. And this was a jolly good rant, not that informative, but a good rant. I was just going to read it and forget about it, when I saw Yahweh's resume at the bottom of it. Well, I found myself nodding in agreement. This is exactly what I felt when I read the Old Testament myself. In fact, this was precisely what upset me for days. | | A Chain Is As Strong As Its Weakest Link | | I do business online. I´m not going to brag about how much money I’m making, but it’s finally coming in. Good. My final challenge is to get my profits physically to Mexico, and that’s where it gets tricky.
I don´t know whether you have ever endeavored to actually have an income through your online activities. And I’m not talking about a couple of cents you can make here at myLot, no, a real income. I finally got there, but it took me two years of hard (and I mean HARD) work.
However, the final hurdle I have to take is Mexico and its infrastructure. You can´t imagine what kind of a hussle it is to deposit a dollar cheque, in fact, I haven´t done that, yet. Cheques might get lost, bank employees don´t really know what they are talking about, ever optimistic, ever cherry, but not knowing how to deposit a cheque. They give me some information (hey, no sweat, man, just go to your branch and deposit it), while it turns out that it has to be at least over $ 250. I tried to deposit small cheques, thinking it would be easier, but no way. In fact, they want to charge me $ 40 for every cheque I deposit. Maaaaaan……
So my only way of getting my money is through Paypal, and it usually just... | |

| | Yahweh's Resume | | I was browsing through the net because I wanted to find out something about the Old Testament God, The Muslim Allah, The Christian God the Father. I wanted to know how the idea of this God developed through the ages, what the ancient Hebrews (who were Pagans) really believed. I had already read somewhere that Yahweh was only a sky god in the Hebrew pantheon, who later got "promoted" to his post as Lord God of the Universe, Creator of the world.What I got in the Internet was a rant. | | A Chain Is As Strong As Its Weakest Link | | I do business online. I´m not going to brag about how much money I’m making, but it’s finally coming in. Good. My final challenge is to get my profits physically to Mexico, and that’s where it gets tricky.
I don´t know whether you have ever endeavored to actually have an income through your online activities. And I’m not talking about a couple of cents you can make here at myLot, no, a real income. I finally got there, but it took me two years of hard (and I mean HARD) work.
However, the final hurdle I have to take is Mexico and its infrastructure. You can´t imagine what kind of a hussle it is to deposit a dollar cheque, in fact, I haven´t done that, yet. Cheques might get lost, bank employees don´t really know what they are talking about, ever optimistic, ever cherry, but not knowing how to deposit a cheque. They give me some information (hey, no sweat, man, just go to your branch and deposit it), while it turns out that it has to be at least over $ 250. I tried to deposit small cheques, thinking it would be easier, but no way. In fact, they want to charge me $ 40 for every cheque I deposit. Maaaaaan……
So my only way of getting my money is through Paypal, and it usually just... | |
