Great dog, one bad habit Dog personality>??? skills? obidience, training, dog tricks! how will it train? how to discipline ur dogs I just shout and say no if I caught them doing things I really hate.As much as possible I don't wanna hurt them.How do you discipline them?Do you hit them? potty training dog. we just got a new puppy yesterday that is 2 months old what is the best way to potty train her.. she already had 3 accidents in the house potty training dog We have a new puppy, and I need new ideas for potty training.. no matter what she will go to the bath room out side and after 30 minutes of bringing her in she goes in the house Training Buster? My Buster loves sitting on the backs of my couch and love seat watching for intruders walking past the house. he has a kennel and also a pillow bed. I keep the furniture covered to avoid all the dog hair and possible damage from his claws. I am now in the process of training him to stay off the furniture except when called onto it to visit etc. I always tell him, "Pillow". Now he seems to think this is punishment. Most times he glares at me like, "How dare you. I did nothing wrong." It's not working real well as each time I walk out of the office to the living room there he is sitting on the couch. Or dad tells me as soon as Buster heard the door to the office open he jumped down. Okay do you find it easy or difficult to teach your pet(s) newer tricks or behaviors that you want from them? What are some of the things that you did to train your dog? how to win with a stubborn dog my lhasa maltese has to be the most stubborn dog in the neighborhood. once she is set on something there is no changing her mind. she has recently decided that she doesn't want to do her business in our yard. so if i won't take her for a walk around the neighborhood she pulls out of her collar and runs like mighty dog. i have had to chase her over a mile before catching. while she thinks it's cute it just makes me want to make a trip to the humane society. she is three and i have had her since she was 2 mos so it's not like she's a puppy anymore. would love to hear from you other dog lovers myLot training dog commmentary what do u think..... training a dog is easier or a horse???????? and why?????????
