| Education level: how does it affect your life? | | I'm curios to know people's education level (highschool, trade school, university degree, graduate degree, etc.).Has your education made a difference in your life? Did it help you get into the field you wanted? Did it help you to earn the kind of money you expected? Are you glad you got your education or do you regret it? Student loans coming down on you can impact how you feel about your education and whether it was worth it. Do you agree?I have a diploma from a trade school and 2 bachelor's degrees, and still I'm struggling to find a job that pays me what I'm worth. It's very discouraging. | | | Recommending a decent Canadian Culinary School? | | So, after 3 years of a fruitless and miserable attempt at a Psychology degree, my mom suggested that I go for a trade that I would like doing for a few years. I thought about it and realized that I was quite content when cooking at a small hometown restaurant. So, I decided that my next expedition into the world of education would be into Culinary School!Anyone have any experience in the area? More specifically, a Canadian point of reference (as that's where I'll be attending school) would be helpful. Any handy tips, tricks or warnings I should heed from the others? | |
| | Are teachers allowed to join in mobbing a pupil? | | I'm asking this because my girlfriend is always mobbed in school and the teacher is even mobbing her then too instead of stopping the other pupils. She can't even go to an other school because she is in her apprenticeship and it's her trade school and doesn't have a choice. So I wanted to know if we could sue the teacher because my girlfriend can't take this much longer before she breaks down and I can't even help her and that makes me slowly sick too. | |

That money should help the kids and the mother with bills but once she decides to get remarried that should stop.Yes use the money to buy the food that the kid/kids want that the parents don't eat. It wasn't long after that you had to have a grade 12 to get any sort of job. Now it seems that a high school graduate is not good enough, now you have to go to trade school, college or get a University degree. Then even a lot of the graduates have difficulty finding work. Please tell me what your experience has been or is at present, and is the schooling you have good enough to get you what you need. | |

What professional or trade person would you trust if they had an online degree? Is there a profession or trade that you feel is better taught in person than online? | |
