I mean, you can have your own garden with vegetable? few chiken for meat? Maybe a cow for milk? | | I want to develop 2 acres of land..... But a Big Problem! | | Yes friends I have ancestral property from my mother's side. It's a 2 acre of land in Village area. But the problem is that it is a solid black rock over the entire area(I live in India) whereas in the adjacent area there's Black Cotton Soil which is indeed fertile and anything can be grown in it but it doesn't belong to us! What can be done with this solid rock without requiring much amount of investments to break this solid rock itself. Due to this reason it's an area not possible for farming, or even building a small house as it's difficult to even dig it which will require lots of manpower and machinery. Can anything be done blowing up the rock with Dynamite? Atleast I think its the last possibility, any idea how it can be converted to soil in small time? Otherwise it's going to remain a barren land forever.....Your suggestions friends:)........ | |

When I found out Will Ferrell had been cast as Rick Marshall, I almost literally cried. I cannot stand Will Ferrell. He plays the same role in every movie - a 30-something going on 13 whose bag of comedic tricks contains little more than fart jokes and falling down stairs.Today SciFi channel has been running a marathon of Land of the Lost episodes (all of them I think; it's been on for about 16 hours now) and in watching it I have made my decision. The Land of the Lost movie cannot be anything less than a travesty. The show was absurd; all of the Sid and Marty Krofft shows were. But the characters were serious. They were serious people caught in a completely outrageous and absurd situation, trying to get home. The show really wasn't ever even funny. Once in a while, something would happen and people would laugh but overall it was a drama. I think the producers/directors/casting directors went the totally wrong direction with this and that makes me sad.[em]cry[/em] | |
