Remember Silly Putty? I remember using it on newspaper to transfer the print to the putty. It was squishy and it would bounce like a ball.Recipe for Silly PuttyIngredients: white glue liquid starch plastic container with lidMix 2 parts white glue with 1 part liquid starch. Let it dry a little before using. Store in air-tight container.
my neighbor's kiding me are driving me crazy: a fairy tale
once upon a time the house in front of ours resembled a haunted house. one day two trucks pulled in and renovated the whole thing. a family with two kids moved in and the whole street was never quiet again. in our country we dont call people older than us by their first names, but these kids call everyone by their first names and in very loud voices. they scream and scream and scream all day. their father, the evil king and their mother the evil queen tolerates the way their children are acting. they are so spoiled rotten. now i am just a lowly commoner and i cant just barge in to their castle and let their kids chew silly putty and finish it off by putting duct tape across their mouths, besides im not the bad guy. and im about 10 years younger than their parents. but they're really so so so noisy. (could they have adhd?) so one day the lowly commoner wrote to the good people of mylot for help. should she just buy earplugs or is there a better way to handle this?

Here is an interesting topic, which I hope will help all of you Mom's of Lively little 5 year old Boys, and their Silly-Putty Dilemma's.I used to Be a Dry-Cleaner, many moons ago, so.....I know this works! If your 5 year old managed to get Silly-Putty glued In all 5 of your remotes, the Opening of the V.C.R. and your Carpets ( as well ) Grab a couple of Q-tips, some Rubbing Alchol ( if you do not have...Listerine works wonders too! ) and an Old -( clean ) Tooth-Brush.Number 1 rule....always test for color-fastness . In other words try this in a hidden spot on the Fabric. Dip your Q-tip in the rubbing alchol and Gently.... work into the Silly- Putty. It works like Magic! For Carpets, it might take a few Minutes Longer than Plastic - Items, But it works ( Honest )Another Dry-cleaning Secret....If you Have a Blood-spot on Something which Cannot be dropped off at the Dry-Cleaners ( ie....) your Mattress....Grab the Q-tips ( again )....and some hydrogen-Peroxide. The Number 1 rule applys here too. Test in a hidden area on your Mattress.Gently work a Q-tip full of Peroxide into the Mattress and Blot with Dry Towel. Repeat as needed. The...
