| | I have a mercury grand marquis 1997 with a 4.6L vinW ... | | I have a mercury grand marquis 1997 with a 4.6L vinW enginewith 122,000 miles on it. I Have a major spark knock problem at acceleration and at cruise with very light acceleration. I have changed the heads, gaskets, Intake manifold and gaskets, Timing components, cams and followers with no improvement. Using an Auto X-ray scanner with ford enhanced OBDII all the operational data is with in limits and No DTCs found. The short term fuel trim is at 28% and All HEGOs are swithing. This problem began after the intake manifold coolant crossover(Plastic) blew out.Any help is appreciated | |
