Fiction books any suggestion?
What are some good fiction books, with a great plot and colorful words? I love reading, but I don't know what books to buy. I like fantasy based stories, utopian, adventure. I hate horror stories and anything to do with killing others or self. I also want to increase my vocabulary too.
Fiction Book or Non-Fiction books?
What kind of books do you prefer to read? I prefer Fiction.
Fiction is it a reflection of reality?
I like to read and I really can get my head into a fiction novel, I can sink myself deep into the pages, visualizing all the characters in the various scenes. Dan Brown is a very good author who engages his readers. Imagination is key in my book (no pun intended). See the mind can take you places you have never been or maybe you don't want to go once you find out how distant it can be. So when we read about fictional characters and situations is'nt it just reflecting real life, but then what is real? Okay compared to fantasy... Well now that is a whole other topic for me to discuss in a later thread.
Books which fiction books do you like
Which is best book that you have read till date. Mine is Fools Die by Mario Puzzo...
What are some good Christian fiction books for teens?
Also, what is a good Bible for teens? I have the first Revolve Biblezine but I want something that has the Old and New Testaments.
Any good fiction books that you reccommend?
I'm an avid reader, but I have read all of my favorite authors' books. Anyone have an author and book(s) that are their favorites?
Which do u like to read, fiction or non fiction books?
I like fiction books to read as stories and I like autobiographies of people to read.
what kind of books do you like? and why?
I am not an avid reader of fiction...I love non fiction books. Non-fictions provide a true story ...what are your interests?
What if everyone was just like you?
People often seem to wish that everyone else be just like them. They don't want people of other races surrounding them, they don't want to accept that maybe other religions are just as valid (or not valid) as their own, and if someone doesn't fall into the category of their type of people, they don't care about issues concerning "those people".But have you ever stopped to think about how horrible the world would really be like if everyone was just like yourself? If everyone was like me: 1. Fiction books probably wouldn't have been written 2. Children wouldn't play video games, they'd do calculus problems 3. Reading would not be required at school 4. People would all play many musical instruments 5. The harmonica would have far greater appreciation 6. Only easily cooked foods would be available 7. Television wouldn't exist, unless it came around for educational purposes 8. People would only be working 3 days a week 9. There would be no deadlines and procrastination would run rampant 10. A lot more people would be riding bikes instead of drivingWhat would the world be like if everyone was like you? If you're not the type...
A Writing Enterprise
Judith and Garfield Reeves-Stevens came to Hollywood to write. While in town, they managed to tear down some common entertainment industry assumptions.Common wisdom says husbands and wives shouldn't work together. But, they are a very successful and inseparable writing team. Industry tradition holds that you have to be 20 years old and fresh out of college to write for television. However, there's no way anyone fresh out of college could have piled up the credits this pair did before arriving in network TV. Finally, Hollywood insists that the nice guys finish last – while the Reeves-Stevenses get work as much for their professional pleasant temperament as their considerable talent. As co-producers on Enterprise, the last production in Paramount Star Trek television franchise, they were part of a team charged with recharging a series that struggled in its third season. They helped to improve the show by leaps and bounds, though the ratings damage was already too late.At first impressions, the Reeves-Stevenses seem an unlikely choice for such an important TV task as forging the plot-lines of Star Trek. They seem far too nice to have found so much success in Hollywood....
