I'd love to learn how to make my own patterns for sweaters or stuffed animals and such. I have been crocheting for a number of years, but always with a pattern. how do you make a pattern of your own? Do you write your own crochet patterns? Do you write your own crochet patterns, and if so, have you ever been paid to have them published? I have written a few and posted them on Gather.com with links to them on Crochetpatterncentral.com. I enjoy sharing them for free, but have wondered... Where do you get your favorite patterns? When I crochet, I am always hunting for the perfect pattern. I guess I am hard to please because if it is easy enough for me to do (intermediate crocheter at least) then I generally don't care for the pattern. I don't like to make ordinary items....
