| | | History And Bio Of Hideo Kojima | | Hideo Kojima (小島秀夫, Kojima Hideo?, born August 24, 1963) is a Japanese video game designer at Konami. Formerly the vice president of Konami Computer Entertainment Japan, he is currently the head of Kojima Productions, a new team devoted to creative game development leaving behind all the business and administrative decision making. He is the creator and director of a number of successful games, including the Metal Gear series, Snatcher, and Policenauts. He has also produced both the Zone of the Enders and Boktai series. His trademark style is to address and approach a multitude of important, large issues and aspects of human life in a philosophical, verbose fashion. He also is sometimes interpreted as one of the few postmodern game designers; the Metal Gear series contains magical realism and often breaks the fourth wall. His love of movies is also noticeable in his games, where he pays homage through his stories and characters, often to the point of pastiche. He is also well known for a quirky and somewhat irreverent sense of humor.Career in game development:Born in Setagaya, Tokyo and initially having ambitions of becoming a film director, he joined video game... | |

| | Neverwinter Nights game. Do You Know It? Can You Give Any Suggestions? | | Hi. I bought Neverwinter Nights deluxe pack (in america it is the silver one though). In the pack there is Neverwinter Nights and the two expantions "shadows of urdentrine" and "hordes of underdark". I think It's great. I've just installed it and played the tuturial. I choose a ranger character.
Do you know if it is better to start to play with the two expantions too?
Do you know this game? what do you think? and do you know any cheat? Do you play multiplayer?
| | | Benoit Sokal | | Do you know this great artist? He created very great adventure games with excellent graphics. Probably you've heard about Syberia, Amerzone, Paradise. Those great games are all Sokal's creations.
I love adventures games and I have Amerzone and Syberia 1 & 2. These games area really great: graphically cared in every detail and with amazing riddles.
Do you like adventures games? and do you like Sokal's games?
| | The Myst Series - Revelation | | I have played most of the Myst games except for the last one.
Revelation. I purchased the game over a year ago but have not played it yet. The game asks me to uninstall my virtual drive before it will allow me to load the game. I would like to play the game. I don't feel that I should have to uninstall a program on my computer to use another. I paid for the game and now cannot play it unless I uninstall something else. I really think this is unreasonable. The virtual drive is installed so that I don't have to use a disc to run programs, therefore speeding up load times and saving wear and tear on my disc.
On another note, Myst, the first game was one of the absolute best games that I have ever played. All other Myst games that followed just in my opinion could not compare.
The Exile came close to being like the original game play.
I am hoping Revelation gets back to the game play of the original game. I loved hunting for pages and being teleported into another space and time.
What were your favorite Myst games? Do you think any compared to the original? Has anyone else encountered this problem with Revelation?
| | Dragon Quest VIII | | I just finished playing DragonQuest VIII^_^ Weeee... It was a long journey, but it was really worthed. I mean, this game really is one of a kind^_^ The graphics are so great, and oh especially the bgm... And the plot of the game wasn't that really any different from other rpg adventure games but still... It was entertaining. I especially liked using the alchemy pot and creating rare items. Rather than looking for them in the whole map area. The Dragovnian Outfit was cool too^_^ | |
